Buellton California is a small town north of Santa Barbara. Located right next to the 101 freeway, Buellton provides very easy access to the surrounding Santa Ynez Valley and north towards the California central coast area. However, there is not much to see and do in Buellton itself, but the area around Buellton is full of rolling hills, wineries and tourist attractions. We really enjoyed Buellton as a short stop on our drive from Pismo Beach back to Southern California. Come along with me as we explore my favorite things to do in Buellton California.
Buellton is many times confused with Solvang, California. On the one hand, there is good reason for them to be confused simply because they are very close to one another. Regardless of the differences, Buellton makes a great rest stop if you’re driving on the 101 freeway and you want your family to take a break from driving. Read on to find out what to see in Buellton.
